N.H. Goel World School Hosts a Carnival-Themed Evening for Nursery and Junior Kindergarten Grandparents
Raipur, 23 October 2026: The Early Programme Wing of N.H. Goel World School celebrated Grandparents’ Day with “The Grand Gala EP Fiesta,” a carnival-themed evening honouring the love, wisdom and guidance grandparents bring to children’s lives.
The celebration welcomed grandparents of Nursery and Junior Kindergarten students. EP Leader Mrs. Tasneem Naaz opened the programme with a warm address, thanking them for their invaluable role in nurturing young learners. Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey also shared heartfelt words with the gathering.
An interactive storytelling session by the Helen O’Grady team encouraged grandparents to participate and set a cheerful tone for the evening. Class teachers then guided them in groups through seven activity counters.
At the Creative Corner, grandparents painted canvases to take home as keepsakes. The Dart Balloon Game, Fishing Homes, Catch the Eggs and Sling Hockey brought playful excitement and friendly competition. The Riddle Corner prompted nostalgic conversations while challenging participants’ memory and wit.
The Express Your Feelings counter offered a quieter, personal moment for grandparents to write about their emotions and experiences, adding a meaningful touch to the festivities.
The evening concluded with refreshments outside the cafeteria, where grandparents relaxed, interacted and shared their experiences. Combining creativity, play and appreciation, the Grand Gala EP Fiesta strengthened the bond between the school and its extended family, leaving guests with cherished memories.
