Raipur: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and warmth at N.H. Goel World School, Ginni Devi Block, as students from Senior Kindergarten to Grade 3 expressed their love, gratitude, and respect for their teachers.

The celebration beautifully reflected the special bond shared between teachers and students. The young learners presented a delightful class play portraying their teachers. Hands-On Activities Transform Graphs, Patterns and Algebraic Identities into Meaningful Learning

Raipur: Students of Grades 8 and 9 at N.H. Goel World School explored important mathematical concepts through a series of engaging hands-on activities.

By observing, creating, plotting and proving, the students discovered that Mathematics is not limited to formulas and calculations. It becomes easier to understand when abstract ideas are represented visually and practically.

Graphical Solutions of Linear Equations—Grade 9

Grade 9 students plotted pairs of linear equations on graph paper and observed the behaviour of the lines.

They discovered that:

• Intersecting lines have one unique solution.
• Parallel lines have no solution.
• Coincident lines have infinitely many solutions.

The activity helped students understand how the graphical relationship between two lines determines the solution of a pair of equations.

From Patterns to Formulas—Grade 8

Grade 8 students observed number patterns and learned to identify the relationship between consecutive terms. They then used this relationship to calculate the nth term.

For example:

• 3, 6, 9, 12… gives the nth term 3n.
• 5, 8, 11, 14… gives the nth term 3n + 2.

The activity guided students from observation to logic, generalisation and formula formation.

Visual Proof of an Algebraic Identity—Grade 8

Using coloured paper and geometric shapes, Grade 8 students visually proved:

(a + b)² = a² + b² + 2ab

They divided a large square into smaller squares and rectangles, making the connection between algebra and geometry clear and easy to understand.

Proof of (a + b + c)²—Grade 9

Grade 9 students constructed a large square and divided it into three smaller squares and six rectangles.

By comparing the combined areas of these parts with the area of the complete square, they verified:

(a + b + c)² = a² + b² + c² + 2ab + 2bc + 2ca

The activities transformed mathematical formulas into visual and meaningful experiences. They helped students understand not only how to solve a problem but also why the underlying concept works.

Students Honour India’s Freedom Fighters Through Music, Dance and Poetry

Raipur, 15 August 2026: N.H. Goel World School, Ginni Devi Block, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, pride and patriotic spirit.

Students of Grades 4 and 5 presented a melodious group song, while students of Grades 5 and 7 performed a vibrant group dance. Their colourful presentations filled the atmosphere with national pride and celebrated the rich diversity of India.

A special “Tribute to the Freedom Fighters” was presented by students from Senior KG to Grade 10. Through their performances, the students brought alive the inspiring stories, courage and sacrifices of the great heroes who contributed to India’s freedom.

The celebration was further enriched by beautiful poetry presentations from:

The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements of students.

Sahil Tandon of Grade 9 was felicitated for representing N.H. Goel World School at the prestigious Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat camp.

Chanchal Tiwari and Lisa Dewangan of Grade 7 were honoured for participating in the District-Level Yogasana Championship 2026 and demonstrating remarkable focus, discipline and dedication.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration filled every heart with a renewed sense of pride and responsibility towards the motherland.

The event was a beautiful combination of patriotism, talent, discipline and unity. It reminded everyone that the spirit of freedom also carries the responsibility to help build a stronger, united and progressive India.

Interactive Hindi Activity Makes the Concept of “Kriya” Simple and Enjoyable

Raipur: An engaging and creative activity was organised for Grade 3 students of N.H. Goel World School to help them understand the Hindi grammar concept of “Kriya” (verb or action word).

The children were asked to draw pictures showing different actions. Using their drawings, they identified various activities, discussed them with their classmates and learned the meaning and importance of Kriya.

Students understood that words which express an action or indicate something happening are called Kriya.

The activity made the grammatical concept simple, clear and enjoyable. It also provided students with an opportunity to display their creativity and improve their expression and communication skills.

When grammar meets creativity, learning becomes colourful, meaningful and fun.

Raipur: Students of Grade 2 at NH Goel World School participated enthusiastically in an engaging Hindi learning activity based on the poem “Kaun?” (Who?). The activity was designed to develop curiosity, observation, questioning skills, logical thinking, and confident expression among young learners.

Raipur: N.H. Goel World School conducted an engaging Banking Activity for students of Grades VII and VIII to develop practical life skills and financial awareness.

During the activity, students received hands-on experience with basic banking procedures. They learned how to:

• Deposit money into a bank account
• Withdraw cash using a withdrawal slip
• Apply to open a new bank account
• Complete an account-opening application form
• Submit the required Know Your Customer documents

Through role-play and guided demonstrations, students performed the roles of customers and bank officials. This made the learning experience practical, interactive and easy to understand.

Raipur: The tiny tots of Senior KG at N.H. Goel World School participated in an exciting activity titled “Fruit Fiesta on the Ramp.” The vibrant event brought together learning, creativity and confidence in a fun-filled way.

Dressed in colourful fruit-themed costumes, the children confidently walked the ramp and introduced different fruits to the audience. The interactive presentation helped them learn and remember the names of various fruits through an enjoyable experience.

The activity enhanced the children’s vocabulary and speaking skills. It also encouraged them to express themselves and develop confidence while presenting before others.
