Raipur: Turning dreams of flight into reality, the NCC Air Wing cadets of N.H. Goel World School, under the guidance of 3 CG Air Squadron NCC, Raipur, embarked on an inspiring aviation exposure programme featuring Simulator Flying at Shri Shankaracharya College, Raipur, followed by an educational visit to the airport to witness the NCC Microlight Aircraft Virus SW80.
The unique learning experience provided cadets with an exciting glimpse into the fascinating world of aviation and aerospace. During the simulator flying session, the cadets experienced the fundamentals of aircraft operation, flight controls, take-off, landing, navigation, and cockpit procedures in a realistic flight simulation environment. The hands-on activity enhanced their understanding of aviation while strengthening their confidence, decision-making abilities, and technical awareness.
The excitement continued with an educational visit to the airport, where the cadets closely observed the NCC Microlight Aircraft Virus SW80. They were introduced to the aircraft’s features, operational capabilities, safety protocols, and the vital role of microlight aircraft in NCC Air Wing training. The interaction offered students valuable insights into aviation technology and inspired many to aspire towards careers in the Indian Armed Forces and the aviation sector.
The programme proved to be an unforgettable experience as cadets witnessed the practical aspects of flying beyond classroom learning. The visit not only deepened their knowledge of aviation but also instilled qualities of discipline, leadership, responsibility, and patriotism—the core values of the National Cadet Corps.
