Senior Students Showcase Mathematical Knowledge, Quick Thinking and Teamwork
Raipur: N.H. Goel World School organised Mathmaniya, an inter-house mathematics quiz for senior students, encouraging mathematical aptitude, logical reasoning and analytical thinking through healthy competition.
Mr. Brijesh Pathroliya, retired DSP, Chhattisgarh Police, attended as the guest of honour. Participants demonstrated their problem-solving abilities and quick-thinking skills in an engaging contest.
Lakshya House secured first position, with its team comprising Shabd, Kavya Singhania, Jaiwardhan and Parth Somani. The winners displayed strong coordination, confidence and mathematical understanding throughout the competition.
Quiz masters Mr. Ravi Arya, Mr. Brajesh Panighari and Ms. Shreya Jaiswal conducted the event, making it an informative and intellectually stimulating experience.
Addressing the students, Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey encouraged them to explore mathematical research and practical applications beyond textbooks. He emphasised curiosity, analytical thinking and continuous learning as essential elements of academic growth.
Ms. Mili Gupta, Ms. Sweta Das and Mr. Vinod Joon also attended the programme. The event was coordinated by Mr. K. V. Sreekumar, whose efforts supported its smooth conduct.
Mathmaniya offered students an opportunity to strengthen their mathematical skills, build confidence and appreciate the relevance of mathematics in everyday life.
