Raipur: Students of Class 10 at NH Goel World School experienced the joy of learning science through a hands-on activity on the “Verification of Ohm’s Law.”
As part of experiential learning in Physics, students performed the experiment in the laboratory to understand the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance in an electric circuit.
Under the guidance of their teacher, students carefully connected the circuit using a resistor, ammeter, voltmeter, battery, and other required components. They recorded different readings of voltage and current and observed how the current changed with the applied voltage.
Through their observations and calculations, students successfully verified Ohm’s Law and connected the scientific concept learned in the classroom with practical experience.
The activity encouraged students to observe, experiment, calculate, analyse, and draw conclusions independently. It also helped develop scientific thinking, problem-solving skills, accuracy, teamwork, and confidence.
Such hands-on activities at NH Goel World School make science more interesting and meaningful. By learning through experiments, students gain a deeper understanding of concepts and discover how scientific principles work in real-life situations.
