Young Learners Combine Food Knowledge, Public Speaking and Teamwork
Raipur: Grade 3-I students of N.H. Goel World School brought their unit on Food to life through a colourful exhibition that showcased their knowledge, creativity, and confidence.
The students took charge of the entire activity—from planning and preparing displays to dividing roles and responsibilities. Their classrooms became lively learning spaces, welcoming guest faculty, teachers, and young visitors from Grades 1-I and 2-I.
The exhibition featured fruits, green vegetables, spices, dairy products, dry fruits, medicinal plants, and pulses. The young presenters confidently explained the displayed items and their nutritional value or traditional uses, making the experience engaging for their visitors.
Students also conducted rapid-fire quizzes and presented their projects to different groups of schoolmates. These interactions gave them opportunities to answer questions, share ideas, and practise speaking before an audience.
The exhibition encouraged independent thinking, teamwork, organisation, and leadership. By taking responsibility for both the preparation and presentation, Grade 3-I learners turned a classroom topic into a memorable experience of learning together.
