Activity Builds Independent Reading, Focus and Analytical Writing Skills
Raipur: Students of N.H. Goel World School successfully completed their first formal book review activity, marking an encouraging milestone in their reading and writing journey.

The initiative aimed to build students’ ability to read independently for sustained periods and introduce them to a structured approach to evaluating a text. Despite having no prior experience with formal book reviews, the learners carefully followed the writing guidelines and completed their work with patience and sustained attention.
Their responses demonstrated an ability to work independently, organise their ideas, and analyse what they had read. The activity provided a foundation for expressing thoughtful opinions about books in writing.
Building on this progress, future exercises will introduce more advanced vocabulary and questions that encourage deeper critical thinking. The successful first attempt has opened the way for further exploration, reflection, and confident expression through reading.
