Professional Learning at DPS Bhopal Focuses on Curriculum, Collaboration and Student-Centred Teaching
Raipur: Teachers from N.H. Goel World School participated in the Cambridge Subject Excellence Forum held at Delhi Public School, Bhopal, on 19 September 2026.
The school was represented by Ms. Urvashi Ratrey, Early Years & Foundation Program; Ms. Shraddha Tripathy, Mathematics; Ms. Rabia Khan, English; and Ms. Suman Satapathy, Science. The forum provided opportunities for professional learning, collaboration, and the exchange of effective classroom practices.
Led by Dr. Rahul Sharma, Ms. Seema Puri, Mr. Sahil Sayed, Ms. Reema Vora, and Ms. Achama Mathew, the sessions focused on strengthening curriculum understanding and exploring teaching approaches across different subject areas.
Discussions emphasised creating student-centred classrooms that encourage learners to explore, question, reason, collaborate, communicate, and think independently. The sessions also highlighted the Cambridge Learner Attributes—Reflective, Innovative, Confident, Engaged, and Responsible (RICER).
The forum offered practical insights to help teachers create engaging, inclusive, and purposeful learning experiences. Their participation reflects the school’s commitment to continuous professional development and thoughtful classroom practice.
