Ten N.H. Goel World School Interns Explore Entrepreneurship and Practical Learning
Raipur: Ten students of N.H. Goel World School began exploring the connection between books, business, and entrepreneurship through an introductory session of the Scholastic Internship Program (SIP), offered by publishing and distribution company Scholastic.

Ms. Vandana Choudari introduced the programme and explained how it combines reading promotion with practical business skills. The initiative aims to help students understand the journey from developing an idea to planning and managing an entrepreneurial venture.

During the session, the interns learned about startups, building and branding a team, assigning responsibilities, and tracking progress. They also explored the importance of leadership, resilience, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving in turning ideas into action.

Event planning was another key focus. Students discussed how to define an event’s purpose, identify its audience, and set SMART goals—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound—while developing initiatives that encourage children to read.

Ms. Choudari’s engaging session gave the young interns a practical foundation for their upcoming responsibilities. The programme offers them an opportunity to apply classroom knowledge, develop confidence, and gain experience in organising purposeful activities.
