Two-Day Project Combines Language, Science, History and the Arts
Raipur: Students of Grades 4-I and 5-I at N.H. Goel World School participated in a multidisciplinary project on 22 and 23 September 2026, with Hindi serving as the central language connecting Science, History, Social Science, Music, Art and Craft, and English.
The project encouraged students to explore how knowledge from different subjects can come together through practical and creative learning.
Students read about Indian rulers, freedom fighters, historical events, and ancient civilisations in Hindi. They brought these stories to life through short role plays. Hindi essays and discussions on society, civic duties, and geographical diversity further strengthened their language skills and social understanding.

In Science, learners used Hindi poems and slogans to explain topics such as the water cycle, parts of a plant, and environmental conservation. Folk songs, patriotic songs, and nature-themed poetry added a musical dimension, helping students practise pronunciation and rhythm.
Art and craft activities included making models of historical monuments, charts, and masks. Students also participated in translation exercises, expressing the main ideas of historical and scientific stories in both Hindi and English.
Working in groups gave learners opportunities to share responsibilities, cooperate, and develop leadership skills. Presenting their projects helped them build confidence and communicate their ideas more clearly in Hindi.
With teachers’ guidance and enthusiastic student participation, the project made learning meaningful and enjoyable while demonstrating the connections between language, science, history, and creative expression.
