Special Assembly and Council Investiture Highlight Service, Equality and Unity
Raipur: N.H. Goel World School celebrated NSS Foundation Day on 24 September with a special morning assembly dedicated to community service and social responsibility.
Students shared information about the National Service Scheme, sang the NSS song, and raised slogans promoting equality, including “Manav manav ek saman: Jaat paat ka mite nishan.” An address on the ideals of Swami Vivekananda encouraged learners to reflect on the importance of serving others.
The newly constituted NSS Council was formally announced, with badges presented by Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey; Senior Coordinator (CBSE) Ms. Shweta Das; Senior Coordinator (Cambridge) Mr. Vinod Joon; SP-2 Cluster Head Mr. Roshan Chettiar; and NSS Programme Officer Ms. Sakshi Kahar.
The council members are:

- Karan Jain — Coordinator
- Priyanshi Mukherjee — Coordinator
An exhibition of staff reflections on social service and community development highlighted the personal fulfilment and shared purpose that come from helping others.
Ms. Krishna Jethwa coordinated the day’s activities, while senior NSS volunteers led the celebration with enthusiasm and dedication. The programme received valuable support from Director Administration Shri S. K. Tomar and Senior Administrative Officer Mr. Abhinandan Sinha.
The occasion reaffirmed the school community’s commitment to the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You,” and encouraged students to make service a meaningful part of their lives.
