Solo and Group Performances Celebrate the Folk Culture of India
Raipur, 28 September 2026: N.H. Goel World School organised an Inter-House Group and Solo Dance Competition at Rangshilp, the school auditorium, celebrating the theme “Folk Culture of India.”
The solo competition featured classical, semi-classical, folk, and contemporary dance performances. Participants showcased their talent through graceful movements, rhythm, and expressive storytelling.
Group performances brought together teams of 10 to 15 students from Karma, Lakshya, Gyan, and Vishwas Houses. Colourful costumes, coordinated movements, and energetic presentations highlighted India’s diverse cultural traditions.
Ms. Shakti Vyas, Ms. Pallavi Rao, Ms. Sujata Samant, and Ms. Saima Farhat judged the performances on choreography, rhythm, synchronisation, expression, costume, and overall impact.
The announced results were:
- First Position: Gyan House
- Second Position: Lakshya House
- Third Position: Vishwas House
Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey congratulated the winners and participants and appreciated the efforts of the House Masters in preparing the students.
The competition provided a lively platform for artistic expression, teamwork, and cultural appreciation, making it a memorable celebration of dance.
