Inter-House Mathematics Quiz Celebrates Logical Thinking, Speed and Teamwork
Raipur, 6 October 2026: The MP Cluster Mathematics Department of N.H. Goel World School, headed by Ms. Pooja Naidu, organised Math Mania—an Inter-House Mathematics Quiz Competition for Grades 7 and 8 at Rangshilp Auditorium.
Students from all four houses demonstrated speed, accuracy, logical reasoning, and teamwork throughout the competition. The excitement extended to the audience and teachers, who tested their mathematical skills in dedicated rounds, making the event lively and participatory.
Special guests Mr. Vinod Joon, Ms. Bh. Parmeshwari, Mr. Denzil Vonlintzgy, and Ms. Suman Amitav Satpathy encouraged the participants and appreciated their enthusiasm and mathematical abilities.
Following a closely contested competition, Vishwas House secured first position. The results were:
- First — Vishwas House: Ranveer Singh Arya (8-A), Saanvika Chopda (8-D), Jasdev Singh (7-I), and Aarna Goyal (7-I).
- Second — Lakshya House: Aishleen Kaur (8-I), Vihaan Parakh (8-B), Devam Nathani (7-A), and Pulkit Parwani (7-D).
- Third — Gyan House: Dhruv Kabra (8-B), Vivaan Kheria (8-C), Vihaan Shrishrimal (7-D), and Varnika Jaswani (7-D).
- Fourth — Karma House: Krishika Lath (8-I), Nitya Bachhawat (7-A), Kayra Agrawal (7-B), and Rivaan Ahuja (7-B).
Math Mania brought mathematical thinking and friendly competition together, giving students opportunities to reason quickly, collaborate, and apply their knowledge with confidence. The event demonstrated how Mathematics can be both challenging and enjoyable.
