Cambridge and CBSE Students Combine Creativity and Learning During Ganita Saptah
Raipur: As part of Ganita Saptah, Grade 6 students from the Cambridge and CBSE blocks of N.H. Goel World School presented “The Mathematics Circus,” an entertaining performance that brought mathematical concepts to life.
Under the guidance of Ms. Simran Haswani and Ms. Suman Agrawal, students portrayed number jugglers, fraction twins, algebra magicians, percentage strongmen, geometry acrobats, angle dancers and mathematical clowns. Each act combined mathematical understanding with humour, music and audience interaction.
Creatively designed props added colour and energy to the presentation, helping students communicate their ideas in engaging ways. The audience enjoyed the performances and appreciated the young learners’ confidence, imagination and effort.
The Mathematics Circus encouraged students to explore concepts, collaborate and express their understanding beyond written exercises. It conveyed a meaningful message: mathematics is not simply about memorising formulas—it is also about reasoning, discovery and the joy of learning.
