Classes XI and XII Hindustani Vocal Music Students Lead an Interactive Workshop
Raipur, 16 October 2026: N.H. Goel World School organised “Harmony in Chaos – The Importance of Music in Our Daily Life” at Rangshilp. Conducted by the Hindustani Vocal Music students of Classes XI and XII, the workshop encouraged participants to explore music as a source of expression, relaxation and connection.
The student presenters discussed the role of music in everyday experiences, highlighting how it connects people and provides an outlet for emotions. They also addressed common misconceptions, encouraging the audience to appreciate music beyond entertainment.
The session introduced the concepts of music therapy and mindful listening. Through musical demonstrations and interactive activities, participants explored attentive listening and reflected on how music influences their moods, thoughts and feelings.
The student-led format offered the presenters an opportunity to demonstrate their musical knowledge, confidence, creativity and teamwork.
Their engaging approach encouraged active participation and made the session both informative and enjoyable.
The workshop concluded with a message to include music mindfully in daily life and appreciate its cultural and personal significance. “Harmony in Chaos” celebrated music as a meaningful way to pause, reflect and find moments of balance amid busy routines.
