CBSE Students of Grades VI–VIII Turn Household Materials into Fascinating Scientific Demonstrations
Raipur: CBSE students of Grades VI to VIII at N.H. Goel World School presented an exciting exhibition titled “Science Magic in Everyday Life.”
Using simple household materials, the young presenters performed fascinating demonstrations that appeared to be magic tricks. They then explained the scientific principle behind each one, transforming wonder into meaningful understanding.
The exhibition celebrated experiential learning by giving students opportunities to:
- Explore and experiment
- Apply scientific concepts
- Think creatively and critically
- Work together as a team
- Explain their observations confidently
- Learn through practical experience
Students of Cambridge Grades VI to VIII also visited the exhibition.
They interacted with the presenters, explored the science behind the “magic” and enthusiastically encouraged their peers.
The lively exchange of ideas created an engaging environment where students learned from one another.
Their journey from saying “It’s magic!” to confidently explaining “I know why it happens!” reflected the true spirit of scientific enquiry.
The exhibition demonstrated that science is not limited to laboratories or textbooks—it can be discovered in ordinary materials and everyday experiences.
Science is everywhere—we only need the curiosity to look for it!
