Hands-On Activity Combines Mathematical Understanding with Artistic Expression
Raipur: Class 3-I students of N.H. Goel World School explored fractions through an engaging activity in which they created their own colourful Fraction Booklets.
The activity began with a revision of the numerator and denominator and the concept of dividing a whole into equal parts. Students then used their booklets to represent fractions visually and express their mathematical ideas creatively.
The process helped learners connect fractions with everyday situations and explain their understanding in their own way. Each completed booklet reflected the student’s individual creativity and learning.
By turning mathematical concepts into something they could see, create, and explain, students experienced fractions as a practical and enjoyable part of learning.
