Students Honour India’s Freedom Fighters Through Music, Dance and Poetry

Raipur, 15 August 2026: N.H. Goel World School, Ginni Devi Block, celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, pride and patriotic spirit.

Students of Grades 4 and 5 presented a melodious group song, while students of Grades 5 and 7 performed a vibrant group dance. Their colourful presentations filled the atmosphere with national pride and celebrated the rich diversity of India.

A special “Tribute to the Freedom Fighters” was presented by students from Senior KG to Grade 10. Through their performances, the students brought alive the inspiring stories, courage and sacrifices of the great heroes who contributed to India’s freedom.

The celebration was further enriched by beautiful poetry presentations from:

  • Riyansh—Grade 1
  • Mishthi—Grade 1
  • Sneha—Grade 6

The occasion also provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements of students.

Sahil Tandon of Grade 9 was felicitated for representing N.H. Goel World School at the prestigious Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat camp.

Chanchal Tiwari and Lisa Dewangan of Grade 7 were honoured for participating in the District-Level Yogasana Championship 2026 and demonstrating remarkable focus, discipline and dedication.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, followed by the National Anthem. The celebration filled every heart with a renewed sense of pride and responsibility towards the motherland.

The event was a beautiful combination of patriotism, talent, discipline and unity. It reminded everyone that the spirit of freedom also carries the responsibility to help build a stronger, united and progressive India.
