Raipur: Students of Class 4I at NH Goel World School enjoyed an exciting and enriching visit to the Chemistry Laboratory, where they explored the states and properties of matter through demonstrations and hands-on learning.

One of the highlights of the visit was an interesting experiment demonstrating how sodium carbonate reacts with vinegar to produce carbon dioxide gas. Watching the reaction helped students understand how substances interact and how a chemical reaction can result in the formation of a gas.

Students also explored important scientific concepts such as melting point, boiling point, freezing point, evaporation, and condensation. These demonstrations helped them connect concepts learned in the classroom with practical examples.

During the visit, the young learners were introduced to a laboratory thermometer and learned how scientists use it to measure temperature accurately. They also became familiar with common laboratory apparatus such as beakers, flasks, test tubes, Bunsen burners, and other scientific equipment.

The laboratory experience encouraged students to observe, ask questions, explore, and learn through discovery. Their enthusiasm and curiosity made the session both enjoyable and meaningful.
