Interactive Activity Combines Sanskrit, Science and Visual Learning

Raipur: Students of N.H. Goel World School explored the concept of “जलचक्रम्” (Jalachakram—the Water Cycle) through an interactive poster-design activity.

The students created colourful posters illustrating and explaining the four main stages of the water cycle in Sanskrit:

  • वाष्पीकरणम् (Evaporation): The sun heats water in seas, rivers and lakes, turning it into water vapour that rises into the atmosphere.
  • संघननम् (Condensation): Water vapour cools and changes into tiny droplets, forming clouds.
  • वर्षणम् (Precipitation): When the droplets become heavy, they fall to the ground as rain, snow or hail.
  • संचयनम् (Collection): Water collects in rivers, lakes, ponds and seas before the cycle begins again.

The activity helped students understand a scientific process while learning relevant Sanskrit vocabulary. Poster-making allowed them to organise information clearly and express their knowledge creatively.

The interdisciplinary experience strengthened their language skills, scientific understanding, creativity and presentation abilities.

When language, science and art come together, learning becomes colourful, connected and memorable.
