Regional Traditions, Food and Art Bring Cultural Learning to Life

Raipur: Grade 6 students of N.H. Goel World School, together with students from the Ginni Devi Block, organised an exhibition on “Unity in Diversity,” celebrating the rich cultural traditions of India.

The displays explored the languages, festivals, attire, art and food of different regions. Some students brought traditional dishes from home for visitors to taste, adding a flavourful dimension to the learning experience. Parents’ involvement and support were warmly appreciated.

The exhibition was visited by Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey, Senior Coordinator Mrs. Shweta Das, Proctor Ms. Bh. Parmeshwari and MP Cluster Manager Mrs. Pooja Naidu, along with other teachers. They appreciated the students’ understanding, teamwork and well-organised displays, and acknowledged the Social Science Department’s guidance.

Students from the Middle and Primary Programmes also visited the exhibition, discovering different aspects of India’s cultural heritage through their peers’ presentations.

The event encouraged collaboration, cultural appreciation and respect for different ways of life. It concluded with a meaningful message: our differences make us unique, and our unity makes us strong.
