Songs, Creative Keepsakes and Classroom Games Make Language Learning Enjoyable
Raipur: N.H. Goel World School celebrated Franco Fiesta with enthusiasm, bringing French language learning to life through music, creative activities and student-led presentations.
In the Primary Programme Cluster, French learners from Grades 3, 4 and 5 conducted a special assembly. Students introduced “Rendez-vous” as the Word of the Day and shared the thought “Whatever will be, will be.” Rhyming French songs added energy to the programme, while the young anchors wished the audience “Bonne journée”—“Have a great day!”
Students also shared stickers and handmade bookmarks featuring the French flag and familiar French symbols with classmates and teachers. These colourful keepsakes encouraged conversations about the language and culture.
Middle-school students joined the celebrations through classroom activities, including Bingo, French idiom writing and French songs. The activities offered opportunities to practise vocabulary, express ideas and learn collaboratively.
Franco Fiesta celebrated students’ enthusiasm for language learning and encouraged them to explore French with curiosity and confidence.
