Hands-On Activity Introduces Students to Deposits, Withdrawals, Account Opening and KYC
Raipur: N.H. Goel World School conducted an engaging Banking Activity for students of Grades VII and VIII to develop practical life skills and financial awareness.

During the activity, students received hands-on experience with basic banking procedures. They learned how to:
- Deposit money into a bank account
- Withdraw cash using a withdrawal slip
- Apply to open a new bank account
- Complete an account-opening application form
- Submit the required Know Your Customer documents

Through role-play and guided demonstrations, students performed the roles of customers and bank officials. This made the learning experience practical, interactive and easy to understand.

The students also learned the importance of maintaining accurate financial records and carefully following banking procedures. They understood how Know Your Customer (KYC) verification helps banks confirm a customer’s identity and provide secure and transparent services.

The activity connected classroom learning with real-life financial situations. It encouraged students to become more confident, careful and responsible while handling money and using banking services.

Financial confidence begins with practical knowledge—and every informed step leads towards a more secure future.
