Young Learners Honour Nature, Farmers and Mother Earth Through Creative Performances
Raipur: The young learners of Senior Kindergarten-C at N.H. Goel World School presented a special assembly to celebrate Hareli, the traditional festival of Chhattisgarh that honours nature, agriculture and farmers.
The thoughtfully planned presentation used four creative scenes to share an important environmental message.
In “A Day Without Nature,” the children showed how difficult life would become without trees, plants, water and other natural resources.
The second scene, “The Magic Basket of Hareli,” introduced the young audience to the joy, traditions and agricultural importance of the festival.
In “Mother Earth News Channel,” students creatively presented the challenges facing the planet and encouraged everyone to care for the environment.
The final scene, “Gift to Mother Earth,” shared a beautiful message of gratitude and responsibility. Students promised to protect nature through simple and meaningful actions.
The assembly helped the children understand the importance of farmers and their valuable contribution to society. It also developed their confidence, creativity, communication and presentation skills.
