N.H. GOEL WORLD SCHOOL CELEBRATES THE 80TH INDEPENDENCE DAY WITH PATRIOTIC FERVOUR

Ceremonial Parade, Cultural Performances and Felicitations Mark the Celebration

Raipur, 15 August 2026: N.H. Goel World School celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great pride, enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

Students of Grades VI to XII, teachers and staff assembled at the Sports Academy at 7:30 AM for the morning celebration.

The programme began with a disciplined ceremonial parade, followed by the hoisting of the Tricolour jointly by Director Administration Mr. S. K. Tomar, Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey, Senior Administrative Officer Mr. Abhinandan Sinha and Senior Coordinator Ms. Shweta Das.

As the national flag unfurled, the gathering joined in singing Vande Mataram and the Jhanda Geet. A stirring rendition of the National Anthem filled the grounds with pride and unity.

Senior Coordinator Ms. Shweta Das then addressed the gathering. In her inspiring speech, she remembered the sacrifices made for India’s freedom and encouraged students to uphold integrity, civic responsibility and academic excellence.

Following a brief breakfast break in the cafeteria, the celebrations moved to the Central Courtyard for the cultural and felicitation segment.

The students presented a moving patriotic song and an energetic dance celebrating India’s unity, freedom and diversity.

A major highlight was the award ceremony recognising academic excellence and sincere effort. Deserving students received prestigious scholarships, while teachers were specially honoured for guiding students who achieved perfect 100/100 scores in the board examinations.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks jointly delivered by the Head Girl and Head Boy. They expressed gratitude to the school leadership, teachers, staff and students for making the celebration meaningful and memorable.

The gathering dispersed at 9:30 AM with every participant feeling inspired, responsible and proud to be an Indian.

The celebration reminded everyone that freedom is both a precious gift and a responsibility to build a stronger, united and progressive India.
