Grade V Students Unveil a Working Model of the Human Circulatory System
RAIPUR: The science classroom came alive with the rhythm of discovery as the students of Grade V presented an impressive working model of the Human Circulatory System, transforming a complex biological process into an engaging practical experience.
With curiosity in their minds and confidence in their voices, the young scientists demonstrated how the heart—the body’s tireless powerhouse—pumps blood continuously to every organ and tissue. Their working model vividly illustrated the extraordinary journey of blood through the human body.

Exploring the Body’s Lifeline
During the presentation, students clearly explained the vital roles played by the major components of the circulatory system:
- The heart, which pumps blood throughout the body
- The arteries, which carry blood away from the heart
- The veins, which return blood to the heart
- The blood vessels, which create an extensive transportation network within the body
The students also demonstrated the fascinating process of double circulation, explaining how blood travels through the heart twice during one complete cycle—once between the heart and lungs and again between the heart and the rest of the body.

Science Beyond the Textbook
What began as a classroom lesson soon became an exciting scientific investigation. By observing and operating the model, students gained a deeper understanding of how oxygen-rich and oxygen-poor blood circulate through the body.
