Grade 6-I Cambridge Learners Present Research on Their Favourite Cities
Raipur: Grade 6-I Cambridge students of N.H. Goel World School undertook an individual English research project titled “My Favourite City.” The project encouraged learners to explore cities from historical, cultural, economic, and modern perspectives.
Each student researched the origin and development of a chosen city, its cultural and economic importance, and its famous landmarks and monuments. Students also examined modes of transportation and important urban challenges, including traffic congestion, sustainability, and infrastructure.
Following the Cambridge approach to research, communication, and independent learning, students presented their findings before the class with confidence, enthusiasm, and clarity. The presentations allowed them to exchange ideas and discover different cities and cultures from around the world.
The activity strengthened students’ research, critical-thinking, organisation, public-speaking, and presentation skills. It transformed the classroom into a lively platform for global exploration and meaningful discussion.
