Students Connect Languages, Science, Mathematics and Social Studies Through an Engaging Activity

Raipur: Grade 4 students of N.H. Goel World School participated in an interdisciplinary activity on “Adaptation in Animals.” The activity combined concepts from English, Hindi, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Sanskrit, and French.

Students explored the special physical features and behaviours that enable animals to survive in different habitats. By examining the topic through multiple subjects, they discovered how one concept can be understood and applied in several meaningful ways.

The hands-on and collaborative approach encouraged students to observe, discuss, create, and share their ideas. It strengthened their creativity, teamwork, communication, critical thinking, and understanding of animal adaptations.

The activity also helped learners recognise the importance of every subject and understand how different areas of knowledge work together to create a complete learning experience.

When subjects connect, learning becomes deeper, more creative, and more meaningful.
