“The Great Outdoors” English Project Builds Planning, Teamwork and Speaking Skills
Raipur: Grade 6-I students of N.H. Goel World School explored the excitement of travel planning through their English project, “The Great Outdoors.”
The project challenged students to choose a destination and plan a trip.
Working in groups, they prepared colourful charts, handmade posters, and detailed itineraries, covering everything from flights to what they would pack in their backpacks.
Their classroom became a mini travel exhibition as students presented their plans and shared information about their chosen destinations.
A lively question-and-answer session added to the experience. Each group took on the role of destination experts, while classmates asked questions about the best time to visit, local food, and safe travel.
The project combined English communication with practical planning, encouraging students to organise information, collaborate, think creatively, and respond confidently to questions.
It offered a memorable opportunity to explore the world through classroom learning.
