Cambridge Students Demonstrate Confidence and Expression During Hindi Week
Raipur, 19 September 2026: N.H. Goel World School organised an Inter-House Hindi Speech Competition for Cambridge students of Grades 6-I to 8-I in the school auditorium. The event formed part of Hindi Week, celebrated from 14 to 19 September, which featured language activities for students of Grades 1 to 9.
Participants from Karma, Vishwas, Gyan, and Lakshya Houses presented their ideas with enthusiasm and confidence. The competition encouraged students to strengthen their public speaking skills and appreciation of Hindi.
The judging panel comprised Mr. Raja Mukherjee, Ms. Richa Tandon, and Mrs. Alka Sharma. Participants were assessed on confidence, stage presentation, accuracy of language, and choice of content. The judges appreciated the students’ speaking abilities and thoughtful presentations.
Mr. Rajpal Singh, Hindi Head of the Cambridge Wing, praised the participants and spoke about the richness of Hindi, correct language usage, and its importance in everyday life.
Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey congratulated the winners and participants. In his address, he highlighted Hindi’s significance as both a means of expression and a part of cultural identity. He also appreciated the Hindi Department for organising the programme.
