Students Introduced to the Motto “Not Me, But You”
Raipur, 1 August 2026: N.H. Goel World School organised an orientation programme on the National Service Scheme (NSS) for Grade 11 students within the school premises.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of NSS Programme Officer Ms. Sakshi Kahar and supported by a dedicated team of senior NSS volunteers from Grade 12. The session was chaired by Senior Coordinator Ms. Shweta Das.

The orientation introduced the newly enrolled students to the aims, motto, organisational structure and working system of the NSS. It also encouraged them to participate actively in community-service initiatives and become responsible citizens.

Ms. Sakshi Kahar began the session with an inspiring address on the important role young people can play in nation-building through voluntary service.

She explained the NSS motto, “Not Me, But You,” and highlighted the values of selflessness, leadership, empathy, teamwork and social responsibility. Students learned how collective action and dedicated service can create a lasting impact on society.

The session concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment. Students enthusiastically asked questions about NSS activities, enrolment procedures and opportunities for community engagement.

The active participation of the students reflected their interest in serving society. Many expressed a desire to join the NSS unit and contribute meaningfully to community-development programmes.

The orientation successfully helped students understand the philosophy and functioning of the National Service Scheme. It also encouraged them to become socially aware, compassionate and service-oriented young citizens.

“Not Me, But You”—a simple motto that inspires young people to serve, lead and build a better society.
