Students Explore Sanskrit Time Expressions Through an Interactive Activity

Raipur: Students of N.H. Goel World School participated in an engaging Sanskrit activity designed to teach them how to tell time in Sanskrit.

Using a clock as a learning aid, students practised different time expressions, including:

  • 1 o’clock – एकवादनम्
  • 2 o’clock – द्विवादनम्
  • 3 o’clock – त्रिवादनम्
  • 4 o’clock – चतुर्वादनम्
  • 7 o’clock – सप्तवादनम्

The learners also participated in a conversational activity to apply their knowledge in complete sentences:

बालक 1: मित्र, त्वं कदा क्रीडसि?
बालक 2: अहं सायं चतुर्वादने क्रीडामि।

Through this enjoyable activity, students learned Sanskrit vocabulary, improved their speaking skills, and developed confidence in using the language in everyday situations.

Learning Sanskrit became simple, interactive, and meaningful through active participation.
