Distinguished Administrator to Speak on “Growing Beyond Boundaries”
Raipur: We are delighted to announce that Dr. S. Bharathidasan, IAS, has completed the required TEDx formalities and accepted the invitation to speak at the TEDxYouth event scheduled for 12 September 2026.
Dr. Bharathidasan currently serves as Secretary, Tourism and Culture, Government of Chhattisgarh. He is a respected administrator with wide experience in public service and holds a doctorate in Agriculture.
He has earlier served as the Collector and District Magistrate of Raipur, as well as Collector of Surajpur and Janjgir-Champa. During his distinguished career, he has handled several important responsibilities, including:
- Additional Chief Electoral Officer
- Managing Director—Civil Supplies, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution
- Managing Director—Agricultural Marketing, Agriculture and Cooperation
- Collector and District Magistrate—Raipur, Surajpur and Janjgir-Champa
Through these roles, Dr. Bharathidasan has gained valuable experience in administration, leadership, agriculture, public welfare and development.
At the TEDxYouth event, he will share his knowledge and life experiences to help young people understand how they can grow beyond boundaries. His talk is expected to encourage students to overcome limitations, welcome new opportunities and work towards their goals with courage and determination.
His participation will offer the young audience a valuable opportunity to learn from an experienced leader who has served society through many important roles.
