Grades 7, 8, 9 and 11 Explore Digital Reading Through Quizzes and Creative Writing

Raipur, 30 October 2026: N.H. Goel World School conducted a student orientation-cum-implementation session on Rashtriya e-Pustakalaya (ReP) for Grades 7, 8, 9 and 11, encouraging learners to connect reading with imagination and self-expression.

The sessions were led by Ms. Muskan Kohli, Regional Engagement Expert, ReP (NBT Headquarters), and Ms. Tulsi, Outreach Associate, ReP (NBT Headquarters). Students received an introduction to the digital reading platform and participated in quizzes and “Read with ReP” activities.

For Grades 7 and 8, the session centred on the story “What a Song!” After reading, students were encouraged to compose their own songs inspired by their visual experiences, transforming observations into creative expression.

Students of Grades 9 and 11 explored “Who Stole Bhaiya’s Smile?” by Sanjana Kapur. Their writing prompt invited them to identify a metaphorical “monster” in their lives—something they found challenging—and build a story around it.

Director Administration Mr. S. K. Tomar and Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey felicitated the guest speakers in appreciation of their valuable contribution.

The age-appropriate activities encouraged reading comprehension, reflection and original writing. By combining digital resources with interactive participation, the sessions demonstrated how reading can inspire students to develop and share ideas of their own.
