“Think, Understand, Verify, Then Share” Encourages Responsible Social Media Use
Raipur, 30 October 2026: Students from Amity University presented a street play at N.H. Goel World School on “Media Literacy: Think, Understand, Verify, Then Share.” The performance aimed to encourage thoughtful and responsible use of media among school students.
The programme began following a formal introduction of the visiting team to Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey. Through engaging dialogues and expressive performances, the actors highlighted the importance of evaluating information before sharing it and maintaining sensible limits on social media use.
The presentation helped students reflect on their digital habits and understand the value of using media responsibly. Following the performance, teachers accompanying the theatre group answered questions from the audience, providing further clarity on the topic.
The visiting team thanked the school administration for providing a platform to raise awareness about media literacy. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Cluster Head, reinforcing the message that responsible communication begins with careful thinking and verification.
