Distinguished Educationist and Sitar Virtuoso Engages with Students and Faculty During Two-Day Campus Visit

Raipur, 24–25 July 2026: N.H. Goel World School had the privilege of hosting Mr. Gursharan Singh, a distinguished figure in Indian education, for an enriching two-day visit filled with meaningful interactions, insightful observations and inspiring conversations.

An accomplished educational leader and artist, Mr. Singh has served as the Head of School at Thai Sikh International School, Bangkok, and as the Dean of Activities at The Doon School, Dehradun. He currently works as an educational consultant and performing-arts consultant and is also an acclaimed sitar virtuoso.

During his visit, Mr. Singh toured the campus and explored its diverse academic, artistic and sporting environments. His observations reflected a deep appreciation for the school’s commitment to holistic, experiential and child-centred education.
Appreciation for the Early Programme
At the Early Programme Department, Mr. Singh closely observed the teaching and learning practices followed by the school. He appreciated the nurturing environment and expressed particular admiration for the strong emphasis placed on children’s social and emotional development.
