Karma House Brings Chhattisgarh’s Rich Traditions to Life Through Song, Dance and Meaningful Messages
Raipur: N.H. Goel World School celebrated Hareli, one of Chhattisgarh’s most popular traditional festivals, with a special assembly organised by Karma House.
“Hareli has arrived, bringing greenery and joy to every courtyard of Chhattisgarh.”
The assembly aimed to introduce students to Chhattisgarh’s rich folk culture, traditional customs and the festival’s deep connection with nature and agriculture.
The programme began with a beautiful Hareli folk song. The students’ melodious presentation filled the atmosphere with the colours and spirit of Chhattisgarhi culture.
This was followed by an energetic folk dance that offered a delightful glimpse into the traditions and cultural heritage of the state.
During the assembly, Vigya Jain delivered an informative speech on the importance of Hareli, its customs and its relationship with farming and nature. Her words encouraged students to understand, respect and preserve their cultural traditions.
Principal Dr. Avinash Pandey graced the occasion and appreciated the students’ performances. He encouraged everyone to value Indian culture and protect local traditions for future generations.
The special assembly proved to be both educational and enjoyable. It strengthened the students’ pride in their cultural roots and developed greater respect for nature, agriculture and folk traditions.
