Around 355 Educators and Academic Leaders Explore the Future of Technology-Enabled Education
Raipur, Saturday, 29 August 2026: N.H. Goel World School, Raipur, hosted a mega workshop on Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence, bringing together around 355 educators and academic leaders for an enriching exploration of technology-enabled education.
“The future belongs to those who understand technology, think computationally, and use Artificial Intelligence not merely as a tool, but as a means to create, innovate, and transform.”
Organised by the CBSE Regional Office, the workshop was hosted under the guidance of Director Administration Mr. S. K. Tomar and Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey. The valuable contributions of Senior Coordinators Mrs. Shweta Das and Mr. Vinod Kumar Joon, Mrs. Mili Gupta, Headmistress, G.D. Block, and Ms. Tasneem Naaz, Early Programme Head, helped ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the event.
The workshop offered meaningful insights into Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence and highlighted their growing importance in modern education. It encouraged educators to embrace innovation and prepare learners for an increasingly technology-driven world.
A major highlight was the keynote address delivered by renowned speaker Dr. Jawahar Surisetti. His inspiring and thought-provoking presentation connected technological advancement with the changing roles of teachers and schools, leaving a lasting impression on the delegates.
Thematic sessions were conducted by:
- Senior Educationist Mr. Ashutosh Tripathi, who shared practical perspectives on Computational Thinking and its applications in education.
- Expert from Delhi Mr. Vividh Gupta, who explored the possibilities and potential of Artificial Intelligence in teaching and learning.
An insightful panel discussion featuring Mrs. Vaishali Seth, Mr. Ivan Smith, Dr. Nitee Singh Yaduvanshi, and Mr. Chiranjeevi Maddala examined the opportunities and challenges involved in integrating AI into education. The discussion was effectively moderated by Mr. Vinod Kumar.
The programme was graced by Mr. Jagdish Burman, Regional Officer and Head, Centre of Excellence, CBSE, and Dr. Sweta Singh from the Academic Unit, CBSE Head Office.
The workshop concluded on an inspiring note, motivating educators to become innovative, adaptable, and future-ready while responding confidently to the evolving needs of 21st-century learners.
