N.H. Goel World School’s Grade 1 Learners Shine in Engaging Object Talk Activity

Raipur: Learning came alive with confidence, creativity, and joyful expression as the young learners of Grade 1-C at N.H. Goel World School enthusiastically participated in an engaging Object Talk Activity. Designed to nurture effective communication from an early age, the activity provided students with a wonderful platform to express themselves confidently in simple English.

Object Talk is an interactive speaking activity in which children present and describe a familiar object, helping them expand their vocabulary, strengthen observation skills, and develop clarity in communication. As part of this delightful classroom experience, the students dressed up as their favourite fruits and vegetables, transforming the classroom into a vibrant display of colours and creativity.

With bright smiles and remarkable confidence, each child spoke about their chosen fruit or vegetable, sharing its name, colour, taste, nutritional benefits, and unique features in simple yet expressive English. Their enthusiastic participation reflected not only their growing language proficiency but also their confidence in public speaking.

The activity created a joyful learning environment where students learned from one another while overcoming stage hesitation and improving pronunciation, sentence formation, and self-expression. It also encouraged creativity, imagination, and active participation, making learning both meaningful and enjoyable.

Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Awinash Pandey appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers, stating, “Activities like Object Talk play a significant role in developing communication skills and self-confidence from an early age. Such experiential learning opportunities help children become confident speakers and lifelong learners.”

The Object Talk Activity once again reflected N.H. Goel World School’s commitment to providing experiential, activity-based learning that nurtures confident communicators and well-rounded individuals.
