Raipur: Learning stepped beyond the classroom walls as the enthusiastic learners of Grade 3I at N.H. Goel World School embarked on an exciting educational visit to a real construction site, transforming textbook concepts into unforgettable real-world experiences.
During the visit, the young learners observed firsthand how homes are built from the ground up. They explored different stages of construction, identified various building materials, and witnessed the coordinated efforts of engineers, workers, and builders. The experience helped students understand that constructing a home requires careful planning, teamwork, dedication, and responsibility to create a safe and comfortable living space.
Inspired by this enriching exposure, the students returned to school brimming with ideas and imagination. They enthusiastically designed and built beautiful models of their dream homes using a variety of craft materials. From colourful cottages and eco-friendly homes to modern architectural designs, every model reflected the children’s creativity, artistic expression, and growing understanding of what transforms a house into a warm and loving home.
The activity beautifully blended observation, creativity, and experiential learning, encouraging students to think critically, solve problems, and express their ideas through innovative model-making. It also nurtured appreciation for the countless professionals whose hard work and collaboration make every home a reality.
