N.H. GOEL WORLD SCHOOL CROWNED OVERALL CHAMPION AT “TECH FEST 26”

Students Shine in Hackathon, Game Development and Sci-Tech Quiz at The Aditya Birla School, Hirmi

Hirmi, 30 July 2026: In a remarkable display of innovation, technical knowledge and analytical thinking, students of N.H. Goel World School, Raipur, won the Overall Championship Trophy at the prestigious inter-school “TECH FEST 26.”

Hosted by The Aditya Birla School, Hirmi, the event brought together talented young minds from across the region for a series of challenging competitions in coding, technology and science.

Innovation Shines at the Hackathon

In the flagship event, “Code. Create. Conquer.—Hackathon,” students of Grades IX to XII were given a surprise sustainability-based problem and three-and-a-half hours to develop a working solution.

The N.H. Goel World School team comprised:

  • Mudit Agrawal
  • Vidhit Jumnani
  • Ekanshveer Singh Khalsa

The students trained a predictive machine-learning model using Python, pandas and scikit-learn. They also developed a responsive user interface using Streamlit.

The judges appreciated the team’s practical solution, clear understanding of data and user-friendly design. The students also followed the required guidelines for responsibly disclosing the use of AI-assisted debugging.

Young Programmers Triumph in Game Development

In the “Code. Create. Play.—Scratch Game Making” competition for Grades VI to VIII, the school was represented by:

  • Gagandeep Singh Gill
  • Dhawal Srivastava

Within the given two-hour period, the students created an engaging multi-level game featuring player controls, obstacle maps, changing interfaces, a scoring system and multiple lives.

Their four-minute presentation and confident live defence impressed the judges and secured victory in the game-development category.

Scientific Knowledge Meets Quick Thinking

In the “Sci-Tech Quiz,” the school was represented by:

  • Shivansh Sahu
  • Akshay Pandey

The students faced challenging rounds covering current scientific developments, technology and logical reasoning. Their knowledge, speed and teamwork helped them secure the position of First Runners-Up.

The students’ strong performances across all three events earned N.H. Goel World School the Overall Championship Trophy.

The school management, Principal and faculty congratulated the participants and their mentors for this outstanding achievement. Their success reflects the school’s continued commitment to developing future-ready learners, creative problem-solvers and responsible young innovators.

They coded, created, questioned and conquered—proving that the future belongs to young minds ready to innovate.
