Creative Activity Promotes Cultural Awareness, Artistic Expression and Family Values

Raipur: Grade 2 CBSE students of N.H. Goel World School participated enthusiastically in a creative Rakhi-Making Activity organised to celebrate the spirit of Raksha Bandhan.

Under the guidance of their teachers, students designed attractive handmade rakhis using coloured paper, ribbons, decorative stones, sequins, glitter, and other craft materials. Their colourful creations reflected remarkable imagination, patience, and dedication.

The activity offered an engaging platform for learners to strengthen their fine motor skills, concentration, creativity, and artistic expression. It also helped them understand the cultural significance of Raksha Bandhan and the importance of nurturing strong family relationships.

Through this meaningful experience, students explored the values of love, care, respect, trust, and protection. The activity was both educational and enjoyable, making it a memorable celebration of India’s rich cultural heritage.

Created with imagination and tied with love—every rakhi celebrated a precious bond.
