The grand Opening Ceremony on May 28 witnessed students of N.H. Goel World School proudly carrying the Indian spirit onto one of the world’s biggest stages of creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. The moment marked a remarkable achievement not only for the school but also for the entire nation, as young minds from Raipur stood shoulder-to-shoulder with the brightest student innovators from across the globe.
The journey to the World Finals was nothing short of extraordinary. The talented students of N.H. Goel World School earned their place after dominating both the Regional and National levels of the competition in India. At the national championship alone, over 40 teams, nearly 250 students, 11 schools, and participants from 9 different states competed fiercely for the coveted opportunity to represent India internationally.
Their exceptional creativity, teamwork, spontaneous thinking abilities, and innovative Long-Term problem solutions helped them emerge among the best in the country and secure qualification for the global championship.
The Odyssey of the Mind World Finals 2026 is one of the world’s largest and most respected creative problem-solving competitions. This year’s event is hosting teams from more than 20 countries, featuring nearly 700 teams, over 25 international delegations, participation from 42 U.S. states, and more than 6,000 student competitors worldwide.
Representing India amidst such an enormous international gathering is a matter of immense pride and honor for N.H. Goel World School and the entire country.
